- This standard specifies the classification, requirements, test methods, inspection rules and marking, packaging, transportation and storage of spherical rotor pumps. This standard applies to spherical rotor pumps (hereinafter referred to as "spherical pumps") that transport flammable, explosive, high-temperature, and large-viscosity media.
