Scope

This standard specifies the technical methods and resistance evaluation standards for identification of corn borer resistance at the heart and leaf stage. This standard is applicable to the field identification and evaluation of corn borer resistance of cultivated corn (Zea mays L.) inbred lines, hybrids, populations, open-pollinated varieties, as well as wild corn and corn relatives.
