Scope

This standard describes the general conditions and procedures for recording, assessing, evaluating and diagnosing the state of machines by measuring parameters related to machine performance, state and safety, including thermal, electrical, fluid available parameters. These procedures relate to the operational monitoring of the machine, including all parts and subassemblies necessary to ensure the machine's proper functioning.
