- This standard specifies the classification, technical requirements and inspection methods of linear image quality meters for industrial radiographic testing. This standard applies to linear image quality meters made of steel, aluminum, titanium, copper and other metals. This standard applies to type inspection and factory inspection of linear image quality meters. This standard can also be used as the acceptance basis for user orders. Appendix A describes another dedicated linear image quality meter.
