Scope

This procedure is applicable to the first calibration of electromechanical (induction system) AC energy meters with a reference frequency of 50Hz or 60Hz (referred to as electric energy meters or electric energy meters under inspection). It is not applicable to on-site inspection of electric energy meters. According to Appendix A of this regulation, conduct type evaluation tests on electromechanical AC active energy meters.
