- Scope
- This procedure adopts the following four methods according to the particle size and gradation of the soil. 1. Sieve analysis method: suitable for soil with particle size up to 0.075mmn. 2. Density meter method; suitable for soil with particle weight less than 0.075mm. 3. Pipette method: suitable for soil with dry particle size less than 0.075mm. 4. If the soil is both thick and fine, use the terminal analysis method in combination with the density meter method or the pipette method.
