This standard involves dry heat (temperature gradient or rapid change) and low pressure comprehensive testing of heat dissipation and non-heat dissipation test samples. The purpose of this test is to determine the ability of components, equipment and other products to be stored and used under the simultaneous effects of high temperatures and low pressures. Comprehensive testing should generally only be used when the test sample is subjected to a single environment that does not reveal the combined environmental effects. The procedures given in this standard are limited to test samples that achieve temperature stability during the test. In the case of testing heat dissipation test samples, this procedure only applies to testing one test sample at a time.
