- Scope
- This standard specifies the type, basic parameters, main dimensions and technical requirements of glass-lined stuffing boxes with cooling water jackets. This standard is applicable to the sealing device of the stirring shaft of glass-lined equipment with a nominal pressure less than or equal to 0.25 MPa. It is applicable to medium temperatures higher than 100°C and lower than or equal to 200°C and linear speed of the rotating shaft less than or equal to 2m/s. This stuffing box is not suitable for media that are flammable and extremely, highly or moderately toxic.
