Scope

This European Standard is applicable to phosphoric acid used for treatment of water intended for humanconsumption. It describes the characteristics and specifies the requirements and the corresponding testmethods for phosphoric acid. It gives information on its use in water treatment. It also determines the rulesrelating to safe handling and use (see annex B).
