This European Standard coversThe requirements and manufacture of circumferentially reinforcedconcrete pressure pipe, without steel cylinder and not circumferentially prestressed, with steelreinforcement (RCP) or a homogeneously distributed reinforcement composed of multiplelayers of small diameter wires (DRP). Pipes shall have diameter ranging fromDN/ID 300 to DN/ID 4000. Larger sizes could be manufactured based onThe concepts of this standard.This type of pipe is designed forThe internal pressure, external loads, and bedding conditions designated byThe purchaser. Maximum design pressure shall not exceed 500 kPa.The above limit, shall be increased to 2000 kPa in case of distributed reinforcement.pipes (DRP).
