Scope

This SAE Aerospace Recommended Practice covers a laboratory procedure for determining the cleaning efficiency of aircraft turbine engine gas path cleaners. Results are indicative of cleaning compound performance in the compressor sections of installed aircraft turbine engines, when used in starter crank/soak/rinse application.
