This specification covers a corrosion and heat-resistant nickel alloy in the form of round, square, and flat wire 0.625 inch (15.88 mm) and under in nominal diameter or thickness. This wire has been used typically for helical springs for service at elevated temperatures, but usage is not limited to such applications.
