Scope

This standard specifies the testing technical conditions, equipment and sample requirements for the Rockwell hardness of tungsten carbide bonded cemented carbide (scales C and A). This standard applies to the determination of the Rockwell hardness (scales C and A) of tungsten carbide steel and cemented carbide.
