- This standard specifies the technical requirements and test methods for low-pressure plasma spraying nickel-cobalt-chromium-aluminum-yttrium-tantalum (NiCoCrAlYTa) alloy coatings. This standard applies to low-pressure plasma sprayed NiCoCrAlYTa coatings for high-temperature oxidation and thermal corrosion resistance of aero-engine high-temperature parts. This standard also applies to MCrAlY (M stands for Ni, CO, NiCO, etc.) low-pressure plasma spray coatings.
