Scope

This standard specifies toothed pulleys (hereinafter referred to as pulleys) that mesh with circular toothed belts (hereinafter referred to as belts) specified in JIS B 1857-1. However, toothed pulleys for automobiles and circular toothed toothed belts for general use are excluded.
