- Scope
- This standard specifies a general method for determining the freezing point of chemical products between -15°C and 100°C. Remarks 1. This does not apply to chemical products that do not clearly indicate a freezing point. 2. If a standard for an individual product or product group specifies a measurement method different from this standard, the method specified in that standard shall be used. 3. Some chemical products are volatile, explosive, radioactive, etc., so testing safety cannot be ensured when using this standard. The methods stipulated in this standard are general methods and should be applied to cases where safety can be sufficiently confirmed in advance.
