This standard specifies the dimensional tolerance for the effective diameter and crest diameter (female thread inner diameter and male thread outer diameter) of general metric threads (M) specified in JIS B 0205-2. Note that general metric threads specified in JIS B 0205-2 have standard chevron shapes in accordance with JIS B 0205-1. The dimensional tolerances shown in this standard are derived from the basic dimensional tolerances and tolerances specified in JIS B 0209-1.
