Scope

This standard specifies the tolerance system for general metric threads (M) according to JIS B 0205-2. This tolerance method relates to the reference chevron as specified in 11S B 0205-1. The symbols representing the degree of correspondence are IDT (matched), MOD (modified), and NEQ (not equivalent) based on ISO/IEC Guide 21.
