This standard specifies the classification, requirements, test methods, inspection rules and marking, packaging, transportation and storage of the food additive rosemary extract. This standard applies to powdered products produced from the stems and leaves of rosemary (Rosmarinus officinalis L.) through extraction and refining with ethanol solution. The main active ingredients of its fat-soluble products are carnosol, carnosic acid, rosmarinol, etc.; the main active ingredients of water-soluble products are rosmarinic acid, hesperidin, caffeic acid, etc.
