GB/T 3222.1-2006 Acoustics. Description, measurement and assessment of environmental noise. Part 1: Basic quantities and assessment procedures (English Version)
This part of GB/T 3222 specifies the basic parameters and evaluation methods used to describe the environmental noise in the community. It specifies the steps for evaluating environmental noise and gives guidelines for predicting the potential annoyance responses of people exposed to various environmental noises for a long time. A noise source can be a single source or a combination of multiple sources. The method of predicting annoyance responses is only available in areas where people live and where land is used for a long time. People react differently to noise sources of the same sound level. This section describes corrections for noise with different characteristics. The term "evaluated sound level" is used to describe actual noise predictions or measurements to which one or more corrections have been added. Long-term annoyance responses can be estimated from the assessed sound level. Noise signals are evaluated individually or jointly. When the competent authority considers it necessary, its impulsiveness, tone and low frequency characteristics, as well as road traffic noise with different characteristics, other forms of traffic noise (such as aircraft noise) and industrial noise can be considered. This section does not specify limits for ambient noise.
