Scope

This standard specifies the test methods for the large-capacity fiber tester to determine the color characteristics, impurities, micronaire value, length and length uniformity, specific strength at break and elongation at break of cotton fibers. This standard applies to loose cotton fibers obtained from raw cotton, partially processed cotton, and certain noils.
