Scope
This standard specifies the requirements for equipment, installation documents, equipment layout, pre-installation inspection, mechanical installation, cable laying and installation, bonding and grounding, and post-installation inspection for the installation of ship electronic countermeasure equipment. This standard is applicable to the development, production, installation, inspection and acceptance of ship electronic countermeasure equipment (hereinafter referred to as equipment) and preparation of equipment documents. This standard does not apply to shipboard aircraft electronic countermeasure equipment and submarine electronic countermeasure equipment.
