Scope

This standard uses the method of code identifier plus data (value) description to represent the identification and attributes of hydrological elements. The identifier consists of English letters (not case-sensitive) and Arabic numerals, and has strict meaning. The hydrological station code in this standard should adopt the station code compiled uniformly across the country and be unique.
