Scope

This standard specifies the general technical requirements for ground stations used in civil aviation air traffic control secondary surveillance radar systems. This standard applies to conventional or monopulse system secondary surveillance radar ground equipment used in civil aviation and equipped with mode A/C and mode S capabilities.
