- This standard specifies the general technology, manufacturing, appearance, performance, safety, inspection, testing and packaging, transportation and storage of bean sprout growing machines. This standard applies to the design, manufacture and inspection of temperature-controlled bean sprouts (mung beans, soybeans and other legumes) growing machines. This standard does not apply to non-temperature-controlled bean sprout growers.
