Scope

This standard specifies the classification principles, coding methods, codes and category descriptions of marine economic statistics based on marine industry activities. This standard is applicable to maritime-related enterprises, institutions, state agencies, and social groups that are engaged in marine economic statistical work and carry out statistics, analysis, and research work in accordance with the principle of feasibility and the content specified in this standard.
