Scope
This procedure is applicable to the initial calibration, subsequent calibration and in-use inspection of industrial process measurement recorders equipped with thermocouples or thermoelectric groups to measure temperature, and that use DC voltage, current and resistance as analog electrical signal inputs to reflect other physical and chemical quantities. . Industrial process measurement recorders (hereinafter referred to as instruments) include automatic potentiometers, automatic balancing bridges, function recorders, hybrid recorders and paperless recorders that combine digital and analog instructions.
