This standard specifies the GRAFCET specification language for functional description of sequential behavior in control systems. This standard also specifies the symbols, rules and instructions for GR_A: FCET graphical representation. This standard also provides the basis for automated production systems in industrial applications. No special fields of application are excluded. Methods of developing specifications using GRAFCET' are outside the scope of this standard. For example, the "SFC language" specified in GB/T 15969.3-1995 is not included. This language specifies a set of programming languages for programmable controllers.
