Scope: 1.1 This standard deals with the erection, reassembly on the same site, dismantling and hire of scaffolds used as temporary working platforms in construction work. 1.2 Clauses 1 to 5 of DIN 18299 shall also apply. In cases where the specifications of DIN 18299 contradict the present standard, the latter shall take precedence.
