Scope: 1.1 This standard applies to the partial or complete demolition or dismantling of structures and technical installations. It also applies to the handling of demolished or dismantled building components and equipment and to all salvaged demolition materials and components. 1.2 This standard does not apply to the following: - earthworks (see DIN 18300); - clearing of vegetation (see DIN 18320). 1.3 Clauses 1 to 5 of DIN 18299 shall also apply. In cases where the specifications of DIN 18299 contradict the present standard, the latter shall take precedence.
