This part of GB/T 16264 specifies several object classes and name formats that are extremely useful in directory applications. The definition of an object class includes: giving a list of attribute types related to the object of this class. The definition of a name format includes naming the object class it applies to and listing the attributes used to name the object of this class. Public authorities use these definitions and are responsible for the management of directory information. Any public administration agency can define its own object classes or subclasses and name formats as needed. Note 1: These definitions may or may not use the notation specified in GB/T 16264.2-2008. Note 2: It is recommended that before generating a new object class, or a subclass or name format derived from an object class, priority should be given to using the object class or subclass defined in this document as long as its semantics are applicable to the application. Class or name format. Public administration agencies may support some or all of the object classes and name (name) formats selected in this document, and may also add other object classes and name (name) formats. All public authorities should support object classes (top-level, alias and DSA object classes) for their own use in the object class directory.
