Scope

This standard specifies general principles for the verification of dimensions, runout and internal clearance of rolling bearings. Also. Verification principles are specified to facilitate understanding of the definitions provided in JIS B 0104 and JIS B 1515-1. If there is a suitable verification method other than this standard, or if a more convenient method is found due to technological advances, the verification method may be considered between the parties concerned.
