This International Standard specifies the maximum material tolerance method and its application. The use of maximum material tolerance methods can facilitate manufacturing without interfering with the assembly of parts whose dimensional and geometric tolerances are interdependent. NOTE The conditions of envelopment (see 5.2.2) for single features may be indicated either by the symbol (E) (see JI4 B 0024) or by reference to the appropriate national standard specifying the conditions of envelopment. It's okay.
