Scope
This standard specifies the conditions to be observed for checking the stability of tower cranes (hereinafter referred to as tower cranes) by calculation. This type of tower crane is defined by ISO 4306-3, and it is easy to tip over and be blown by the wind. It is assumed that the tower crane is placed on a solid, horizontal support surface or rails.
