- This standard specifies the safety requirements for flameproof lifting motors, flameproof conical rotor motors and flameproof shielded motors. This standard applies to all kinds of hoisting machinery and other similar equipment used in flameproof motors for power transmission, conical rotor brake motors, and flameproof shielded motors used in petroleum, chemical and other industries for conveying no solid particles (in the following terms All motors above are collectively referred to as motors, except for some special provisions).
