- For all gas cylinders within the scope of application of the Regulations used within the territory of the People's Republic of China, their design documents shall be subject to design document appraisal in accordance with these rules. The appraisal of gas cylinder design documents referred to in these rules refers to the evaluation of whether the safety performance of the gas cylinder design complies with the safety technical specifications (hereinafter referred to as the safety technical specifications) promulgated by the State Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine (hereinafter referred to as the General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine).
