1.1 This standard specifies the technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, transportation and storage requirements for hand-operated injector verifiers used for compression ignition engine injector testing. These tests are described in detail in JB/T 8818. The test items include:
——Injector opening pressure;
——Chatter sound during atomization;
——Spray shape;
——Seat surface sealing;
——Radial sealing sex. 1.2 This standard covers injectors that have a pressure regulating spring and are driven by fuel pressure. This standard proposes some basic standard technical conditions. The injector is connected to the injector calibrator through the connecting piece specified by the injector manufacturer. This standard is to use a calibrator to test the injectors of diesel engine fuel injection devices. It is suitable for injector assemblies or injector nozzle components with a maximum injection volume of ≤300mm/(cycle·cylinder) at full load. 1.3 No distinction is made between the calibrators used in different situations (such as laboratories, factories or repair stations). 1.4 For a specific fuel injector, the fuel injector manufacturer will select test items from the items listed in 1.1 and add additional requirements.
