Scope

This standard specifies the product markings and codes, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, transportation and Storage. This standard applies to porcelain-sheathed indoor terminals and outdoor terminals for paper insulated power cables with rated voltages from 1kV (Um=1.2kV) to 10kV (Um=12kV). The use conditions comply with the provisions of 22.2 and 22.3 in IEC 60055-1-1997.
