- This standard provides guidance for the determination and control of spectrochemical analysis working curves. Although the determination of analytical working curves and daily control operations are related to each other, they should be considered separately. This standard applies to optical spectrographs, optical spectrometers and X-ray emission spectrometers with linear or logarithmic readout methods. In any case, this standard does not mean that it can be applied arbitrarily everywhere. Establishing appropriate, safe and complete application rules and prioritizing the scope of use restricted by the rules are the prerequisites for users of the standard to use the standard.
