Scope

This standard specifies the terms and definitions of hoses and hose assemblies for hydraulic supports, test system requirements, test methods, and inspection rules. This standard is applicable to the inspection of hoses and hose assemblies used in hydraulic supports, as well as the inspection of hoses and hose assemblies used to transport petroleum-based and water-based fluids in coal mines. This standard does not apply to the inspection of castor oil-based and ester-based liquid hoses and hose assemblies.
