- This standard specifies the terms and definitions, classification, codes and markings, general requirements, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, transportation and storage of ceramic wall and floor tile caulking agents (hereinafter referred to as caulking agents). This standard applies to caulking agents that fill the joints between ceramic wall and floor tiles. For grouts used for other types of facing tiles, please refer to this standard. This standard does not include guidance on the design and installation of ceramic wall and floor tiles.
