Scope

This standard specifies the classification and nomenclature, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, transportation and storage of rotating brush aeration devices. This standard applies to rotating brush aeration devices (hereinafter referred to as rotating brushes) used in sewage and natural water bodies that require aeration and oxygenation.
