- This standard specifies the test methods for the functional characteristics of forage harvesters, including forage harvesters that chop directly across the full width, chop in rows and pick up chopped crops. This standard applies to forage harvesters with moving knives for chopping and conveying materials to material boxes, feed carts or trailers, including suspended, towed and self-propelled forage harvesters.
