- This code is applicable to the design of newly built, expanded or reconstructed urban gas projects that supply various users such as residents' living, commerce, industrial enterprise production, heating, ventilation and air conditioning in cities, towns or residential areas as fuel. Notes: 1 This specification is not applicable to long-distance gas transmission pipeline projects before urban gas gate stations. 2 This code does not apply to the gas engineering design of industrial enterprises self-built for production process and the gas quality does not meet the quality requirements of this code, but the gas engineering design self-built for production process and gas quality meets the requirements of this code can be used in accordance with this code Specification enforcement. When industrial enterprises supply internal gas to residents, the gas quality and engineering design for residents shall be implemented in accordance with this specification. 3 This code is not applicable to the design of gas installations on ocean and inland river ships, railway vehicles, automobiles and other means of transportation.
