Scope

This standard specifies the type, size and technical requirements of non-alloy steel and stainless steel joints for corrugated metal hoses commonly used in pipeline engineering. The joints specified in this standard are suitable for multiple purposes. When other types of joints are used, their type, size and technical requirements shall be determined through consultation between the user and the manufacturer.
