- This part of GB/T 5169 introduces the summary of various test methods used to determine the spread of flame on the surface of electrical and electronic products or the materials used. This section describes the current state of development of various test methods, where appropriate, also makes a special note on the relevance and use of these test methods. It is one of the tasks of standardization technical committees to make use of these basic safety publications, where applicable, when preparing their own publications.
