Scope

This standard specifies the system composition and different level requirements of the helicopter flight simulator (hereinafter referred to as the simulator), as well as the general requirements for the function, performance and structural design of the simulator's helicopter flight, integrated avionics, motion, and visual systems. This standard applies to training simulators. Simulators for engineering research can also be used as a reference.
