- Scope
- This standard specifies the requirements, quality assurance regulations and delivery preparations for lubricating oil and fresh water coolers (hereinafter referred to as coolers) for surface ships. This specification is applicable to the design, manufacture and acceptance of shell-and-tube coolers with design pressure not greater than 2.5MPa, design temperature not higher than 150°C, cooling medium being seawater or low-temperature fresh water, and working medium being lubricating oil or fresh water.
