Scope

This part of GB/T 20257 stipulates the grades, specifications and color standards of various features and symbols and annotations on topographic maps of 1:25000 and 1:100000, as well as the use of these symbols. principles, requirements and basic methods. This part applies to the surveying and mapping of 1:25000, 1:50000, 1:1000000 topographic maps, and is also the basic basis for various departments to use topographic maps for planning, design and scientific research. Compilation of geographic basemaps of other map types can be used as a reference.
