- This standard applies to large and important medium-sized reservoirs across the country, and other types of reservoirs can be implemented as a reference. Reservoir hydrological and sediment observation specifications include the following technical contents: 1 Reservoir sedimentation measurement. 2. Hydrological and sediment testing at the inlet and outlet. 3 Reservoir water level observation. 4 Change the water flow and sediment test in the backwater area. 5.
